Thanks for your time today. Talk soon.

      How to add your signature

      Apple Mail (Mac)
      1. Click Copy signature above.
      2. In Mail, choose Mail, then Settings (or Preferences), then Signatures.
      3. Select your account and click + to add a signature.
      4. Untick "Always match my default message font" so your fonts and colours are kept.
      5. Delete the placeholder text and paste (Cmd+V). Close the window to save.

Tip: Images appear only after you send a test email if they are hosted. Keep images hosted on https.

      Gmail (web)
      1. Click Copy signature above.
      2. In Gmail, click the gear icon, then See all settings.
      3. On the General tab, scroll to Signature and click Create new. Give it a name.
      4. Click inside the signature box and paste (Cmd+V on Mac, Ctrl+V on Windows).
      5. Under Signature defaults, choose it for new emails and replies, then click Save Changes at the bottom.

Tip: Gmail does not show embedded (data URI) images. Use hosted https:// image links. Signatures must be under 10,000 characters.

Outlook (new Outlook, Windows and web)
      1. Click Copy signature above.
      2. In Outlook, open Settings (gear icon) and go to Accounts, then Signatures.
      3. Click New signature and enter a name.
      4. Paste into the editor box (Ctrl+V).
      5. Pick the signature for new messages and replies/forwards, then click Save.

Tip: Classic Outlook for Windows: File, Options, Mail, Signatures, New, then paste. Outlook may show embedded images as attachments, so prefer hosted images.

      Outlook for Mac
      1. Click Copy signature above.
      2. In Outlook, open Settings, then Signatures.
      3. Click + to add a signature, name it, and paste into the editor (Cmd+V).
      4. Close the editor to save, then choose default signatures for each account.

Tip: If spacing looks off, paste once more after deleting the editor's placeholder line.

      iPhone and iPad Mail
      1. Open this page on your iPhone or iPad and tap Copy signature.
      2. Open Settings, then Apps, then Mail, then Signature.
      3. Clear the existing text and paste.
      4. Shake the device and tap Undo if iOS strips formatting, which restores the styled version.

Tip: iOS keeps links, colours and hosted images; complex layouts may be simplified.

      Yahoo Mail
      1. Click Copy signature above.
      2. In Yahoo Mail, click Settings, then More Settings, then Writing email.
      3. Turn on the signature toggle for your account.
      4. Paste into the signature box. It saves automatically.

Tip: Yahoo has a smaller editor; compact templates fit best.

      Thunderbird
      1. Click Download HTML above and save the file.
      2. In Thunderbird, open Account Settings for your address.
      3. Tick "Attach the signature from a file instead" and choose the downloaded .html file.

Tip: Thunderbird reads the HTML file directly, so no copy and paste is needed.

The key step most people miss is turning off "Always match my default message font", which otherwise replaces your chosen fonts and colours.

      Why SignatureKit signatures paste cleanly

Every template is built from nested tables with inline styles and web-safe fonts, the HTML that Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and mobile apps all agree on. Copy places a rich HTML version and a plain-text version on your clipboard, so the email app picks the best one.

Social icons are styled text links rather than images, so they show even when a recipient blocks images. For logos and headshots, a hosted https:// image is the most reliable option.

      Private by design

SignatureKit has no server-side processing. Your details stay in this browser tab and in local storage on this device only. Clear them at any time with the Reset button.

      Frequently asked questions

Why does Apple Mail change my signature font?

Untick "Always match my default message font" under Mail, Settings, Signatures before pasting your signature.

Does the signature sync to my iPhone?

Apple Mail signatures can sync via iCloud on Mac, but iPhone and iPad signatures are set separately in Settings, Apps, Mail, Signature.

Why are images missing until I send?

Apple Mail sometimes shows hosted images only in sent messages. Send yourself a test email to check.

Is my information uploaded or stored?

No. SignatureKit builds your signature in your browser. Your details are saved only in this browser's local storage so you can edit later, and you can clear them with the Reset button.

Do I need an account to use SignatureKit?

No. There is no sign-up. Fill in the form, copy your signature and you are done.
